8th Intake 50 Year Reunion - 2014

Reunion Programme Changes and Details

We have decided to reduce the programme as follows; 
 

Thursday 24th April at 1700:

Meet and greet  at the Wollongong Golf Club. Costing $17.00 per head.  Drinks at own expense - the club have kindly offered to "Sponsor" us with a 10% discount on ALL beverages at the "meet and greet" and also at the post ANZAC Day march functions.
 
The Club also offer meals at very competitive prices and of course drinks at Club prices.  We encourage our members to support our "Sponsor".

Friday 25th ANZAC Day March at 1000:

Light Luncheon 1200, Wollongong Golf Club.  Drinks at own expense - 10% off club prices.

Saturday 26th April: 

Official Dinner 1830 for 1900 Portofino Reception Complex.  Cost $70 per head, which includes a 3 course meal and a 4 hour drinks package (beer, wine & soft drink only).

Accommodation: 

We have decided to book accommodation through the Chifley Hotel which is next door to Wollongong Golf Club.

The city centre is a 10 minute walk and has a movie theatre complex an RSL and eateries. 

At this stage we have negotiated a deal for accommodation that does NOT include breakfast as we feel some may eat breakfast, one may eat breakfast, others not at all.

So the deal is:

Accommodation for two in a Deluxe Queen Room...$152.00 per night. Other upmarket options are available but we will only take reservations for this room type.

Check the website or contact Chifley if you wish other types.

Breakfast will be $23.50 per person. You will need to tell the Restaurant you are with the "Leeuwin Group" to obtain this reduced price and it will be added to your room.

Parking is available at $7.00 per night BUT, once again you must mention "Leeuwin Group" to obtain this rate. On street parking is available but...............?
 
The closest Caravan Park is approx 3Klms away. Budget accommodation is also available.

A commemorative Polo Style T Shirt will be available at $30. (BLUE OF COURSE!!) 

We are going to apply for a number of grants/donations etc, so these prices are the MAXIMUM!! 

We will be asking for a deposit shortly as we have expenses to meet. A small raffle will be held. Maximum 3-6 prizes!
